Access Prison Ministry exists to proclaim and model the gospel for inmates at Craggy Correctional Facility. The third Friday evening of each month, a dedicated team extends friendship, care, compassion, and the hope of the gospel to those in need of the Savior. The United States has the highest populations of inmates in the world. According to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), 2,266,800 adults were incarcerated in U.S. federal and state prisons, and county jails at year-end 2010. This doesn’t include the number of family members who are affected by incarceration of their loved one (s) every year. Our ministry’s goal is to reach inmates and their families with the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
